2. Overview

On this website we only process the data required for the technical provision of the site, as well as the information you provide to us yourself via our forms or by email. We do not use any analytics or tracking tools, do not use advertising or marketing cookies and do not embed any social media plugins. Fonts are loaded locally from our server; no connection to Google servers takes place.

If you switch between the light and dark design, your choice is stored exclusively in your browser's local storage (localStorage) so that it is retained on your next visit. No cookie is set for this and nothing is transmitted to us; you can delete the entry at any time via your browser settings.

3. Hosting and delivery via Cloudflare

This website is hosted and delivered via the services of Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA (“Cloudflare”). Cloudflare operates a worldwide server network (content delivery network) that delivers the website quickly and securely and protects it against attacks.

When you access the website, Cloudflare automatically processes technical data transmitted by your browser, in particular:

This data is required to deliver the website, to ensure its stability and security and to prevent misuse (e.g. DDoS attacks). It is not combined with other data sources. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in the secure and reliable provision of our website.

To protect against automated attacks, Cloudflare may set technically necessary security cookies (e.g. __cf_bm, which expires after 30 minutes of inactivity, or cf_clearance after a passed security check). These serve security purposes only and are not used for analytics or advertising. The legal basis is § 25(2) no. 2 TDDDG in conjunction with Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

We have concluded a data processing agreement with Cloudflare pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR. As Cloudflare is based in the USA, personal data may be transferred to the USA. Cloudflare is certified under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework, for which an adequacy decision of the EU Commission exists (Art. 45 GDPR); in addition, Cloudflare relies on standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR). More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.

In addition, the texts and images of this website are retrieved on access from a content server at cloud.jongmans-software.de, which our service provider Jongmans Software operates for us. For technical reasons, your IP address and the date and time of the request are processed. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR; our legitimate interest lies in maintaining and providing up-to-date content.

The website is transmitted via an SSL/TLS-encrypted connection (recognisable by “https://” in the address bar).

4. Contact form, email and telephone

Via our contact form you can send us the following information: name, email address, message and, optionally, telephone number and details of your event. When you submit the form, your own email program opens with a pre-filled message to us; the data is therefore not transmitted via the server of this website but only by email once you send the email yourself. The same applies if you contact us directly by email or telephone.

We process your information exclusively to handle your enquiry and for possible follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or pre-contractual measures (e.g. a rental enquiry), otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in answering enquiries). Your data will not be passed on to third parties.

Your data will be deleted as soon as your enquiry has been conclusively dealt with and no statutory retention obligations (e.g. commercial or tax retention periods of up to 10 years for business letters) prevent this.
